Spanish term
Enfermera universitaria
Spanish to English
Science
Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
¿Sugerencias?

: 'There are 4 categories of nurses in Argentina : university-trained , professional, auxiliary and empírico. Uni.-trained nurses, comparable to regd. nurses, ...generally do not work directly with patients but are *directors of nursing* at private clinics'

On a misguided English Barrister-cum-politician's note, a famous UK QC MP - who shall remain nameless - once intoned at an Annual Bar Conference Dinner in London that Che Guevara had been a shining example of a brilliant, revolutionary Cuban Advocate, once with a thriving law practice in Havana. The stubbornly ignorant speaker, unfortunately, refused to accept my correction, post-speech and post-my return from Cuba, that the description matched that of Fidel Castro rather than that of Che of the 'Otra Vez' motorbike diaries. Moral of the story: 'beware of Englishman categorically claiming to be right'.
