Copernicus satellites to detect fires
The phrase 'tiempo entre pasadas' appears in a book I'm translating about protected areas. This particular part talks about the EU's Forest Strategy and the role the Copernicus programme plays in forest fires. This is the paragraph, and the phrase is at the end:
Hoy por hoy, los sensores dedicados a esta tarea no son los idóneos para los incendios forestales de menor tamaño, sin embargo, en las nuevas directrices para la prevención de los incendios publicadas por la Comisión en abril de 2021 se recoge la implantación de satélites de Copernicus que contarán idealmente con al menos un sensor de temperatura con una resolución espacial de 50 metros y cinco días de tiempo entre pasadas para subsanar esta laguna.
Any suggestions on how to translate this would be gratefully received.
Thanks!

revisit period
My guess is that "overpass" and "overflights" are the terms frequently used in English for "pasada", but the term for the time between two overpasses of a satellite seems to be known as the "revisit period":
"The satellite revisit period is the time elapsed between observations of the same point on Earth by a satellite. It depends on the satellite's orbit, target location, and swath of the sensor.[citation needed]
"Revisit" is related to the same ground trace, a projection of the satellite's orbit on to the Earth."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite_revisit_period
"Data acquisition and (quasi-) real-time production. This is when local ground stations are configured to receive Sentinel data directly during the satellite overpass (and supported as long as this does not conflict with the systematic operations of the Copernicus ground segment)"

Also "revisit time":
"The SENTINEL-3 orbit has a revisit time of 27 days providing global coverage of topography data at mesoscale (inter-track distance at the Equator 104 km using one satellite), with a primary orbit sub-cycle of approximately 4 days, as described in Table 1."

Time between orbits
One orbit of an object around another is one pass. The time of one pass is the time for that singular orbit.
