Spanish term

con perfume de mujer

Spanish to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation
Hola

Gracias
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Yvonne Gallagher

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

PRO query The plethora of suggestion so far shows that this is indeed a PRO-level query IMHO.

Women in football

I wouldn't bother trying to emulate the smell/sent/aroma wordplay of the original, mainly to avoid the "fnarr factor", as people can be very easily offended by almost anything nowadays.

with the scent of a woman

Scent of a woman

https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scent_of_a_Woman

The scent of a woman in the pitch¨
Note from asker:

with an air of femininity

https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/us/definition/eng...
to "have an air":
[singular] the particular feeling or impression that is given by somebody/something; the way somebody does something

air of something The room had an air of luxury.
There was an air of complete confidence about her.

The phrase was used by two female academics researching the role of women in the traditionally male-dominated sports of American football and rugby.
Example sentence:

Even though women are expanding the boundaries of “acceptable” sports for women, an expectation continues to exist off the field to maintain an air of femininity.

Finally, she argues that elite women athletes still require an air of femininity in order to capture and hold media attention.

the "female perfume version" of soccer

There seems to be a fair amount of male perfumes that are marketed that use the names of teams like Real Madrid. So why not for female players?

Or "the female fragrance version" of soccer.

What is implied by the title, which, however, is true, is that the female version of soccer is not as aggressive as that of the male version, and that the female players are not as strong as the male players. And of course, male fragrances and perfumes are much stronger than those of women, which are a lot more subtle.

I think you might also be able to say something like "female soccer players and the scent of victory". That way you could combine the idea of what smells sweet, a victory, with the "sweet smell of perfume", as well as the idea that the women have a victory in their scent. i.e., they are going after it as fiercely and as quickly as they can.
