Spanish to English Bus/Financial Accounting Logistics/billing
SPAIN. This appears in logistical billing software strings. From the general overall context, it appears to be some kind of shipping or customs document. Apart from that, there is no real useful context. The previous string in the list is simply "Invoice" and one that comes after it is simply "Other". And most of the rest appear to be customs office codes, mainly from Eastern Europe.

Discussion

neilmac (asker) Sep 7, 2022:
Take 5 I've just got a new, "urgent" job in from another client which they need by Saturday, so I'll leave this lot just now and come back to it after the weekend.
neilmac (asker) Sep 7, 2022:
Anything's possible With this client, I can expect anything. They work with several Central American and Latin American countries, as well as the US, several European countries and, more recently, India and Japan. And the gnomic/telegraphic nature of the strings doesn't help. I suppose it could just mean "additional information", but it seems a rather odd way to express the notion.
Barbara Cochran, MFA Sep 7, 2022:
Could it refer to additional info included as part of an attachment?
Barbara Cochran, MFA Sep 7, 2022:
I initially thought it might refer to something like an "addendum".
neilmac (asker) Sep 7, 2022:
@Barbara That's possible, and later in the series of strings, there are some that refer to additional information. The problem is, that there might be some country or other where this is what they call a waybill or a shipping manifest, which is what I really need to find out. Normally, in Spain, I'd expect that to come under the heading of "Información Adicional"...
Barbara Cochran, MFA Sep 7, 2022:
Not one of my fields of specialization. But perhaps "additional information" would work, as a "safe" (very general, that could cover many bases) kind of option.

Accompanying note/document

Example sentence:

Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3649/92 of 17 December 1992 on a simplified accompanying document for the intra-Community movement of products subject to excise duty which have been released for consumption in the Member State of dispatch

All documents (delivery note in duplicate, load carrier accompanying note, etc.) to be attached to the consignment note in a closed packing ...

Note from asker:
So it's not a waybill or anything like that, then? Thanks for posting :-)

agree philgoddard : It gets almost no hits, so you can call it what you like. This seems fine to me.
