coul you post an image, excluding the names? trying to elucidate...
after "el médico" goes XXXX [this is the name or also the surname?] and ***Madre Pandemia*** [could this be some invented surname or surname appears before for sure?]

As after goes civil state must be some normal item in these lists.
Another possibility: this can be a voice dictation mistake for "mayor de edad" or whatever.

Why don't you ask for clarification from the office that issued the certificate?
Jane Martin (asker) Mar 10, 2023:
Hi Marie, No this page is not handwritten but these police reports are full of mistakes. I tend to agree with you. Thank you for this suggestion. I have already searched for place names, possible parent names, hospital wards, hospital names....
philgoddard Mar 10, 2023:
Marie I didn't find a placename. It has to be a very garbled version of "mayor de edad", and if you put that as an answer I'd vote for it.
Marie Wilson Mar 10, 2023:
If you have the doctor's name, maybe you can find out if he's from a place that sounds remotely similar.
Stuart and Aida Nelson Mar 10, 2023:
typo I wonder if this is a typographical error. It does not make sense, as it is written.
Marie Wilson Mar 10, 2023:
Hi Jane, is this handwritten too? I presume it is a typo, my search brings up place name or "mayor de edad".
XXXX mayor de edad, Soltero, Medico, identificado con cedula No
XXXX LIMA, SOLTERO, MEDICO, IDENTIFICADO CON DNI.

Mayor de edad/Of legal age

I can only imagine that this is voice recognition gone wrong.

agree philgoddard : Almost certainly.

Thanks Phil :-)
neutral patinba : Might be an explanation, but is it necessary to say a doctor is of legal age?

He's not there as a doctor, but as a witness, and it seems to be a standard form. Have you looked at my last ref, lots of doctors mentioned of legal age.
agree neilmac : Most likely...

Thanks Neil, can't think of anything else although bit of a leap
agree Adrian MM. : -> except, again, if this is for notarial attestation / certification as 'true and faithful to the original', 'Mother Pandemic [sic.]' needs to stay in. No editing is allowed, as I discovered to my cost: London Notary > 'I am *NOT* certifying the edit.'

Thanks Adrian. Yes quite right, but Mother Pandemic is Jane's headache :-)
Something went wrong...
