Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) dermatología
Hola!

estoy traduciendo un informe anatomopatológico (biopsia de lunar) y al final del informe aparece esto: 1he (en una línea separada, después de la descripción histológica de la muestra pero al parecer no está relacionado con ese párrafo). Esto es un informe de Chile pero no creo que sea relevante. Y lo estoy traduciendo para su presentación en GP en Escocia.

He buscado por todos lados y no logro encontrar a qué se refiere!

hematoxilina eosina (Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining)

I am not sure, but if it's a pathology report and they've done any kind of microscopic examination of the sample, my best guess would be that it's referring to the stain used for the slide(s). H&E is really common in histopathology. The 1 might be referring to a figure or who knows what. Just in case this helps!

Hiperqueratosis epidermolítica

Puede ser que HE se refiera al diagnóstico orientativo que suelen dar los informes. En este caso, por el contexto, creo que podría tratarse de hiperqueratosis epidermolítica.
El número 1 quizás se refiere a una imagen o figura, o bien a una clasificación según la gravedad del caso.

En inglés es 'Epidermolytic hyperkeratosis' (EHK).

Muchas gracias por tu aporte! en este caso creo que no se refiere a eso ya que el diagnóstico está en otra línea y es dermatitis seborreica. Pero agradezco la ayuda :)
