Bad, bad server. No donut for you.

English to Chinese Tech/Engineering Computers: Systems, Networks general
Full text (an error message):

"Bad, bad server. No donut for you.

Unfortunately, the orkut.com server has acted out in an unexpected way. Hopefully, it will return to its helpful self if you try again in a few minutes.

It's likely that the server will behave this way on occasion during the coming months. We apologize for the inconvenience and for our server's lack of consideration for others. "
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Shaunna (X)

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Shaunna (X) Apr 25, 2007:
Elinee: Sorry I don't really know how. I just tried "Edit" in one of my open questions, and obviously Pro/non-pro is not editable. Why do they have that "vote for non-pro" button then?
EllyLiu (asker) Apr 25, 2007:
Shaunna, 怎么才能 re-classify to another category?
EllyLiu (asker) Apr 25, 2007:
Sorry Martin, 我的笔误:no “game“
Jason Ma Apr 24, 2007:
Elinee, Do you know how to get access to this game? It must be fun to play.
EllyLiu (asker) Apr 24, 2007:
Seek highly localized version for fun :) It's from a test of Google.

Sorry, a game by orkut

Think this one should be non-pro.

FYI

后面的“It's likely that the server will behave this way on occasion during the coming months. We apologize for the inconvenience and for our server's lack of consideration for others. ”也采用的拟人手法——个人很喜欢这类玩艺,比千篇一律的官话套话有意思得多!

建议照字面意思直译,把原文作者的幽默精神传达出来!

想得分?没那么容易!

如果是一款游戏,我想可以这样说地调皮一点。
