: 原则上是指实体传输线的长度，但使用者可是在四面八方的，所以才会用 coverage 这个字。而且线路总长绝对不只 19000 英尺。////也谢谢你。我一直都在电信事业这个行业里的，从传统电信到视讯传输的设备我都在做中介的生意，所以我很清楚这些个行业使用的语言。

from 500 feet to 3,000 feet是说实际应用的传输距离,后面的for a total coverage of 19,000 feet at 768 kbps是一个补充说明.她所补充说明的是ADSL2 (Annex L)的性能,即:如果距离达到19,000 feet(约5.7KM),其传输速度也可达到768 kbps.如此低的传输速度如果让用户来选的话,我想大多数人是不会选用的.故其实际应用只从500feet扩大至3,000 feet.
