Cage: 早期甚或至今還是有很多出納櫃檯都是用鐵欄杆圍起來的. 筆者喜歡這個字. 用Cashier太沒有賭場的味道了

I guess it refers to a player in a cage match or cage competition. I am not sure of it though.
