context:

The xxx pump was specifically designed to be cleaned out of place. The pump will be removed following the procedure described in the chapter, "Pump Disassembly", and then cleaned by the combined action of detergents and eddies created in the tanks for cleaning, except for the stator.

The xxx pump can also be cleaned mechanically. In this case, use a soft brush with hot water at 60°C and a detergent.

The xxx pump is equipped with a flushing port. This port can be used to pass a rinsing fluid to ensure the removal of all residues before restarting the installation. The port will be also used as a By-Pass when passing a fluid at a rate higher than the pump capacity.
