Thanks. It is not translated by me. I'm QMing this file.
Naikei Wong Jan 24, 2008:
The "partial response" definition is actually clearer in some sense! In that case your interpretations seem to be correct -- and there's something fishy about how accurate the source was written... hope other colleagues can offer better ideas. Cheers
Ellen Xu (asker) Jan 24, 2008:
That is the definition for "Complete response".
There is also the definition of "Partial response":
Partial response (PR): from baseline, a ≤10% worsening in renal function (assessed by calculated GFR); 50% improvement in proteinuria (assessed by urine protein/creatinine ratio) and improvement in hematuria (≥ 50% reduction of RBCs from baseline and no RBC casts on urine sediment analysis). Subjects cannot be treatment failures
Naikei Wong Jan 24, 2008:
An example is creatinine clearance: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creatinine_clearance
Naikei Wong Jan 24, 2008:
More contexts are needed as to what "complete response" refers to. "Within 10%", in strict lingustic terms, does not imply anything like "at least 90%" of something that it directly refers to. My guess is it refers to other parameters for renal function.

恢复到与肾功能正常值偏离幅度在10%以内

介词 to 的施授对象是 normal,指的是肾功能正常时某些指标的数值,而不是肾功能本身,这样说似乎更严谨一些。

谢谢!单从语法上看 within 10% of the normal 确实可以这样理解。如果用 within 10% OFF the normal 就不会有歧义了。
