English term

"Sign-in" / "sign-out"

English to French Other Accounting
These terms are used in relation to the issuing (sign-out) and return
(sign-in) of rented equipment when a signature is required from the person
renting. Current translation suggests sortie and entrée, which seem
inadequate to me. We need to convey the concept of the item being signed
out (checked out) in person by the client - at some point there is also the
phrase "Sign-out required?", meaning is the sign-out process required for
this type of equipment?

Discussion

Comment peut-on rendre le concept 'signed out in person by the client'?
