@Pascale "Key" n'est pas equivalent à "strong adhesion". C'est le traitement du surface pour le rendre rugueux avant l'application d'un adhésif.

Préparer les supports

neutral Anne-Laure Schneider : est-ce que le fond d'accrochage ne désigne pas plutôt le produit que l'on passe après le ponçage pour donner une meilleure adhérence, et non le support poncé lui-même ?

J'ai l'impression que l'expression existe en anglais mais n'a pas d'équivalent direct. J'utiliserais plutôt une paraphrase comme celle que je propose ci-dessus. En français, à ma connaissance, on parle de préparation du support, puis de sous-couche ou d'apprêt, mais je ne vois pas de nom pour le support préparé.
