I would cut it differently:
attitudes for humanitarian work/beneficiary (une attirance pour le travail humanitaire/ une empathie vers les bénéficiaires)
orientation driven (axé sur/ orienté vers les résultats)
L'idée est d'avoir non seulement un état d'esprit tourné vers l'humanitaire mais aussi des compétences opérationnelles.

No there was the "/" but it could be a mistake as there are some in the source text... Thanks for your help anyway...
