English to French Tech/Engineering Music

the context is different technologies and devices to listen to music, here is the sentence:

It is inconvenient having to go to the trouble of inserting the device into a docking speaker when enjoying music from an MP3 player

the target reader is the whole French speaking world so the most "neutral" French may be preferable, unless you feel an anglicism is the best choice.

so far, my first attempt would be "haut-parleur de/sur la sation d'acceuil"...would it make sense?
