If the surrounding ambient temperature is less than the minimum supply temperature, the customer must take responsibility for pre-heating the supply line to the skid to assure that liquids do not form, particularly when the line is dead. A liquid trap may be required at the skid inlet. Lines should be pitched away from the skid. If the unit is to be started on the subject fuel, the skid inlet piping must be heated by one of the following methods:
- heat tracing and/or insulating of supply piping
- recirculating or venting hot gas in the supply line prior to starting
