Medical: Cardiology
On a stress scintigram report for a patient two years after triple aortocoronary bypass surgery, with chronic occlusion of two of the grafts:
... on retrouve la persistance d'une ischémie du plancher basal, avec une amélioration en redistribution.
Thanks in advance for any inspirations. I cannot work out whether they are talking about where the ischemia is or its degree.

My feeling is that the author is talking about the location of the ischemia and not its degree.

: See frankpaillard.chez.tiscali.fr/ anesthesie_anat_physio_app_cardiovasc.htm - it says the "plancher de la valve mitrale" is higher than that of the "valve tricuspide".

Comment: "The cardiologist described it as ischemia of the posterior wall in the end. Thanks to mdcdc for accepting to play terminology ping pong. When working in isolation, exchanging ideas can be so helpful. "
