Vă contrazic, "to test" înseamnă tocmai a testa sau a face un test. Dacă examinarea unui ou cu ajutorul unei lămpi poate fi considerată test este discutabil, dar ar fi o discuţie fără sens. "Egg tester" nu este termenul consacrat pentru ovoscop şi chiar dv aţi declarat, şi încă cu majuscule, că se foloseşte mai mult în Asia...

Nu cred că se face vreun test cu ovoscoapele. Cum a zis şi askerul, cu ovoscoapele se examinează ouăle.

Asia foloseste mai mult EGG TESTER, USA foloseste EGG CANDLER si Rusia, Ucraina, OVOSCOPE.

Dacă procedeul se numeşte "egg candling", atunci denumirea populară a device-ului respectiv este probabil "egg candler".

Termenul de Ovoscope pe ebay este utilizat de compania din Ucraina care comercializeaza ovoscopul respectiv, se mai foloseste si pe paginile din Rusia; prin urmare, am ales egg tester
