When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

to withstand the weakness
withstand=with‧stand past tense and past participle withstood [transitive]
1 to be strong enough to remain unharmed by something such as great heat, cold, pressure etc [= resist, stand up to]:
http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1...
"Those who cursed withstood the pain longer and reported that it hurt less."
Discussion
withstand=1.to stand or hold out againstş resist or oppose, esp.successfully; 2.to stand in opposition, resist.
fight=to contend with or against in any manner: to fight despair (alegerea dvoastră, de rezistenţă activă, care ar implica o acţiune concretă din partea subiectului)
weakness=1. the state or quality of being weak;lack of strength, firmness, vigor, or the like;feebleness.2.an inadequate or defective quality, as in a person's character;slight fault of defect.
Deşi sunt de acord că sună mai bine varianta dvoastră, diferenţa asta de nuanţă m-a făcut să optez pentru 'withstand'.
Un exemplu concludent: The study reported: "Participants who were instructed to tighten their muscles, regardless of which muscles they tightened-hand, finger, calf, or biceps-while trying to exert self-control demonstrated greater ability to withstand the pain, consume the unpleasant medicine, attend to the immediately disturbing but essential information, or overcome tempting foods."
