Como es habitual tanto en cine como en televisión, recordar que cuánto más abierto sea un plano más ***aguantará en pantalla*** por lo que podremos mantenerlo más tiempo. De igual manera los planos más cerrados ***aguantarán menos tiempo en pantalla***, ya que el espectador habrá asimilado la información dada por el plano mucho más rápido.

the wider the angle, the longer the audience will be able to look at it, so the shot can be held for a greater length of time.
the more close-up the shot, the shorter it has to be, since the viewer will have assimilated the information contained within it much more quickly.
