Spanish term

PPT

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
This is more of a general questions about translating acronyms. I have the following sentence to translate:

Especificaciones en el pliego de prescripciones tecnicas PPT

Specifications on the Technical Requirements Sheet.

PPT obviously refers to Pliego de Prescripciones Tecnicas, but should I change this to TRS to match the English translation or leave it as it is? This occurs throughout the document and I would really appreciate hearing how others deal with this. All input much appreciated. . Thank you.
Proposed translations (English)

Neil Ashby Sep 27, 2013:
Explain it once then use the abbreviated form TS ...especially if that's what the source text does.

If it is a very long document, or with various chapters, I tend to give the full version plus abbreviation at the start of each chapter/section, then use the abbreviated form for the rest of that chapter.

I would call it Technical Specifications - pliego is not really a sheet here but can run to hundreds......

And you could call it TS .....

Spanish term (edited): PPT, pliego de prescripciones técnicas

technical specifications

I would not use the term "sheet" or anything similar, but simply "technical specification", which is used very commonly.

Apologies for the typo, I confirm that I am proposing "technical specifications" (plural)
