If it is well tolerated, the dose should be increased after two hours to 2 mg nimodipine, i.e. 10 ml Nimotop solution per hour (about 30 μg/kg bw/h), providing no severe decrease in blood pressure is observed.
Patients of body weight less than 70 kg or with unstable blood pressure should be started on a dose of 0.5 mg nimodipine per hour (2.5 ml of Nimotop solution), or less if necessary."

The problems mentioned by Helena are concerned with the IV administration of Nimodipine ORAL CAPSULES - which are not for IV admin, but apparently have been opened and the liquid inside administered IVly.

Deaths and serious life threatening adverse events have been reported when the contents of nimodipine capsules were injected parenterally. Healthcare providers who prescribe, dispense, or administer nimodipine should be instructed to administer nimodipine capsules orally only. If nimodipine is inadvertently administered IV, clinically significant hypotension may require cardiovascular support with pressor agents. Specific treatments for calcium channel blocker overdose should also be given promptly.

I was tired when I posted these references and I didn't read them properly. But knowing the question comes from a university assignment, alarm bells started ringing in my head! I thought maybe the teachers were trying to catch students out.
