Access to the glossary, the raising and resolving of issues, and the mechanics of the interface are all very intuitive.
The system's being online-based makes it accessible and convenient, especially when working during travels.

I strongly recommend this platform to colleagues and clients who needs translation services into multiple languages. Visually appealing, precise, accurate and user-friendly with excellent support from the project management team and cloud access 24/7.

Cas Translation . I started working with Smartling, Inc this May, 2013 and naturally, I was using the Smartling Translation Management System since then. This is a super user-friendly system. I was able to use it right from the start with ease. The entire platform is very self-explanatory. The Glossary makes my job so easy, it lets me understand what the client's needs are, what need to be translated, in what style(the tone of the translated texts), and what need to stay the same as the original text. The strings are super easy to manage now. I have completed 3 different projects using the Smartling TMS.
Aside from the translation system, the communication with the Smartling friendly Translation Services Manager Kala Maxym has been always prompt, to the point, and fun!

Anja Jones . Smartling is a very powerful online translation tool. Completely cloud-based, it doesn't require any software, plug-ins or installs - translators can get to work quickly and with ease. It offers all the necessary features such as translation memory, fuzzy matches, glossary and style guides to ensure a consistent, high-quality translation, but the icing on the cake is that linguists get to see what they are translating right on the website, in context (no more text overlapping images or button text spilling over). Another useful feature is the commenting function which allows the client and the linguists to communicate about individual translations, ask for clarification, give feedback, add instructions etc. This speeds up the translation process immensely, and combined with the in-built approval tool and notifications system, allows for a pretty much email-free workflow. And finally, one of the really great things about Smartling as a company is that they take translator feedback seriously and we have seen various suggestions from users implemented over the years.

silviapiccolo . I though it was going to be a little difficult to learn how to use the tool and do my job properly, but after very few tries I got the hang of it. Also, Smartling keeps improving the tool to make our jobs easier.
