Help: Tool for calculating words in a specific language in a document?

Hello....

I am wondering if there is a tool available to calculate the number of words in a document of a specific language automatically. For example, I was given several documents which are partially in Spanish and partially in English and I need to come up with a word count in Spanish. However, the English words are dispersed throughout the document, making them difficult to subtract.

Any help is appreciated.
