Google Translate API- 403 "daily limit exceeded" Thread poster: jyuan_us

My Google Translate API suddenly stopped working. When I tried to use it, this error message came up: server returned http code 403( "daily limit exceeded"...) Did anybody come across the same issue? How did you get it resolved? Thanks!

I was not aware of a daily limit. But log in to your API account and check your usage. https://console.cloud.google.com/billing

It happened to me recently, too (not that I use GT too often.) It had been caused by an apparent bank SNAFU, which had just sent me a new credit card with the same expiration date as the one I had reported lost. I could not be sure, though, because of the impossibly complicated way to update/change a credit card in the Google Developers nonsensical UI.
