I'm saying it again, maybe we should limit our conversations to weapons, they don't mind them over the pond. Apparently, they're not as offensive and dangerous as poetry.

There was a nice post which arose
With some rather interesting prose
"Enough!" someone rapped,
And so it was zapped
It seems that anything goes

And I think just about everybody gives an airborne waterbird about your opinions. The point is to have your own opinion anyway, because if we all think the same, then nobody thinks too much, innit?

This was my very first encounter with the Bard, in my Italian school, I must have been around 13. Our teacher made us listen to an audio tape, and, if memory serves me well, it was the voice of sir John Gielgud. It's still my favourite sonnet:
When to the sessions of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:

As you know, PLF, I more or less shunned his sonnets, preferring his plays (more laughs!!), but I think I'll take a closer look at my dog-eared Complete Works now. "Fore-bemoaned moan" - there's a phrase you don't see every day. Either now, or four centuries ago.
Edit: Sorry. Naturally I meant to say "shunn'd" and dog-ear'd" above.
