Hello everyone
I'm looking for the French translation "Green Room Receptions" as a heading for an entertainment and events website, a green room from what I can tell is the sort of actors and artists only lounge, so a bit VIP, where they can organise drinks, receptions, like a "press room party". I find "foyer des artistes" or "foyer des acteurs" but I don't think they use this term to translate the event. I see a few references to "soir�e green room" but I imagine there is another term?

Thank you, I knew this but I needed the name for the reception or party there, which is why the other answerer suggests "réceptions en loge vip" I can't seem to find any reference to "soirée foyer des artistes" or "réception foyer des artistes" so I think it must be called something else.

Je crains qu'il ne faille passer par le franglais s'il faut un ton très moderne: "la fête backstage" ou encore "l'after-party du spectacle" (ouvert à un public payant, je crois).

Sinon on pourrait parler de:
fête dans les coulisses,
cocktail après la tombée du rideau
Tout dépend AMA du contexte et du type de spectacle dont il s'agit.

A green room is a room in a theater, studio, or other public venue for the accommodation of performers or speakers when not required on the stage. Its function is as a break/touch-up lounge so that performers do not have to go back to wardrobe/dressing rooms and are still easily accessible for their call. The term is often attributed to the area historically being painted green.

Thanks for your help, that wasn't my quesstion though -I was looking for the French word for the party or receptions they have in Green Rooms which if you google are popular events in showbiz
