Text: It’s the year 1928, and you’ve just arrived at Lehman Caves National Monument full of excitement after traveling for many days over rough, unpaved roads. You will be staying in one of the newly constructed cabins at the resort near the caves for $1.00 each night. You find that your cabin has a dirt floor, a stove, some wood, no electricity, no water, and one bed with a mattress. Who in your group is lucky enough to get to sleep in the bed? There is no kitchen or bathroom in your cabin; those are in one of the nearby buildings. Starving from your long day of traveling, you make your way over to the nearby lodge to find a nice meal. On your walk to find food, you discover a heated swimming pool that you plan to visit, an orchard full of peach and apple trees, and restrooms with flushable toilets. Mrs. Rhodes greets you when you arrive at the lodge, explaining that she’s cooking a meal now for $0.60, and that there would be music and dancing later that night in the dance hall. Tomorrow, she will personally guide you through Lehman Caves.

Hello and welcome to my page! I have a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Weber State University and I have six years of experience in the laboratory, which include three years in a quality control department and three years in a research laboratory. My goal is to specialize in translating scientific documents from English to Spanish and vice versa. I have recently entered the translating field and I have experience from school projects in my college-level Spanish courses. The example in my profile was for a client working for the national park system, primarily for the Lehman Caves National Monument.
